Prior to Marquette: Hyde earned first team all-state accolades following his senior season at Chaminade College Preparatory School (Mo.) under head coach Mike Gauvain. He was also part of the Chaminade team that won the Missouri Class 3 State Championship in 2006 and finished the season ranked No. 4 in the country. Under coach Dave Beck, Hyde was the leading scorer on Scott Gallagher Soccer Club -- one of the most competitive club soccer teams in the nation -- from 2005 through 2007. He served as team captain of his club team in 2006 and 2007.

Personal: Peter McMorrow Hyde was born Oct. 23, 1989. He is one of six children of Jim and Molly Hyde and is majoring in Economics.
