Golden Eagles compete in final meet before BIG EAST Indoor Championships next weekend.
The Marquette University track and field team will stay home for one final meet before the BIG EAST Championships next weekend, competing in the Panther Tune-Up at Milwaukee this Saturday.

2025-26 INDOOR SEASON NOTES
- MU has broken two school records so far in the 2025-26 indoor season:
- Danny Olsen- new school record in 400m (47.48) at the Meyo Invitational on Jan. 30.
- Danny Olsen- new school record in 300m (33.67) set at the Blue & Gold Invitational on Dec. 5, 2025.
- The Golden Eagles earned three new all‑time top‑10 performances last weekend at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic, as Olsen ran 6.94 in the 60m (No. 8 all‑time), while and Frankie McGee (21.83, No. 5 all‑time) and Bobby King (21.89, No. 8 all‑time) delivered historic marks in the 200m. The 4x400m Relay squad of McGee, Blake Frea, King, and Olsen also ran the second-fastest time in MU history, running 3:15.43.
- The Golden Eagles had a strong showing at the Red Hawk Invitational on Feb. 7, taking home six event titles, with the meet highlighted by the 4x200 relay team of Sophia Abraham, Isabelle Kissane, Kieran Petrie and Jaiden Dornaus, who combined to run 1:46.44, the second best mark in MU indoor history.
- Marquette wrote six new marks into the top-10 lists across three meets on Jan. 30-31 (Meyo Invitational, Mark Schuck Multi, Lake Michigan Open). Highlights include:
- Two pole vault wins at the Lake Michigan Open by Kassidy Papa and Mason Cornwell at the Lake Michigan Open
- Danny Olsen setting a new indoor 400m record and the second best 200m mark in MU history at the Meyo Invitational.
- Cole Donahe (ninth all-time) and Henrik Rosario (10th all-time) adding their names to the indoor heptathlon list at the Mark Schuck Multi.
- MU competed in two meets in week two (NYC Gotham Cup, John Tierney Invitational). MU added six new marks to the all-time indoor lists, highlighted by Danny Olsen's 1:03.28 in the 500m at the NYC Gotham Cup, the second-best mark in program history.
- In the season opener on Dec. 5, MU competed at the Blue & Gold Invitational. The Golden Eagles made four additions to the MU all-time indoor lists, highlighted by Danny Olsen's new school record and first-place finish in the 300m (33.67).
- MU returns 33 letterwinners on the men's side and 31 on the women's side.
- The Golden Eagles welcome 14 newcomers on both the men's and women's rosters.
PANTHER TUNE-UP PREVIEW
- MU will compete in Milwaukee for the second time this season, taking on their final meet before the BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28.
