Prior to Marquette: A four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track & field at DePaul College Prep in Chicago, Illinois … He helped lead the Rams to an Illinois 1A Cross Country State Championship in 2021 … Was a three-time winner of the track team’s MVP award … Holds the DePaul Prep records in the 800m (1:56.09), 4x400m (3:32.40) and 4x800m (8:06.37) … Named team captain as a senior of the cross country and track teams … Also, played one year of basketball.
