
Marquette Tennis Set To Close Regular Season

Golden Eagles travel to Xavier and Butler
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's tennis teams will close out their regular seasons this weekend when they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, to take on Xavier on Friday, April 11, followed by a visit to Indianapolis, Indiana, to face Butler on Saturday, April 12.

Marquette's women's tennis team will hit the court first in the doubleheader, with the first serve set for 12 p.m. CT Outdoors / 1 p.m. CT Indoors. The Golden Eagles are currently behind in the series 4-12, with their last victory coming during the 2021-22 season.

Marquette's men's tennis team will take the court immediately after the women's match concludes. The Golden Eagles have a 9-4 record against Xavier. First serve is set for 3 p.m. CT Outdoors / 4 p.m. CT Indoors.

The women's team holds a 9-3 advantage over Butler in the series history. The Golden Eagles secured a 4-2 win in the last meeting, which was a First-Round matchup during the 2024 BIG EAST Championships. First serve for Saturday's matchup is set for 2 p.m. CT.
