Kam Jones nets 34 points for second-straight game
MILWAUKEE – The No. 7/8 Marquette University men's basketball team downed Xavier, 88-64, Sunday evening at Fiserv Forum.
The Golden Eagles (21-6, 12-4 BIG EAST) were led by Kam Jones' 34 points, tying his career high.Â
Marquette had four starters finish in double figures. MU was stout defensively, forcing 17 turnovers with 16 combined steals and blocks. The Golden Eagles went on a 21-4 scoring run in the second half over the first eight minutes to pull away from the Musketeers.Â

Xavier (13-14, 7-9 BIG EAST) was led in scoring by Trey Green and Olivari Quincy, both scoring 12.
