Golden Eagles continues respective 2023 fall campaigns
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's tennis teams continue their respective 2023 fall campaigns this weekend with action at two tournaments.
Â
The men's team will be traveling to the Ball State Invite for a four-team hidden dual format tournament.
Â
Last week newcomer Jasper Schaadt tallied four doubles wins at the event paired with Jan Jauch and Ivan Vazquez.
Â
The women's team will be sending the entire team to the Betsy Kuhle Invitational hosted by Western Michigan. The tournament will be played in a round-robin format. Marquette and Western Michigan will be joined by UW-Milwaukee, Oakland, Youngstown State, and Michigan State
Â
"This weekend will be another opportunity for us to get better," interim director of tennis Jud Shaufler said. "We've been working hard in practice and being able to play against good programs at both tournaments will give us a chance to build upon the things we have been working on."
Â
All results of both tournaments will be published on the ITA website.
