WTEN Travels to Creighton, Nebraska – Omaha - Marquette University Athletics

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Marquette University women's tennis team (5-9) will open a two-match road swing in Omaha, Nebraska to take on Creighton (12-6) and Nebraska – Omaha (4-13).

Emilija Kojcic has led the Golden Eagles with a 7-4 record at the No. 1 position. In doubles competition, Julieanne Bou and Lara Kaiser have a 6-2 record and has been a bright spot for MU on winning the doubles point early in matches this season.

Creighton University Matchup:

The first serve vs. Creighton is scheduled for 12:30 pm CT.

Marquette holds control of the series with 9 wins to CU's single win. In 2021-22 MU took both matches, 5-2 at home and 4-3 at the BIG EAST tournament.

Nebraska – Omaha Matchup:

MU and Nebraska - Omaha will square off at 1:30 pm CT at Millard North High School.

The Golden Eagles have matched up with the Mavericks three times before this season's matchup and MU has won all the contests between the two programs.
