Golden Eagles will wait for seeding announcement for league tourney
The Marquette University men's tennis team (9-6) concluded its regular season with a 4-3 loss at Butler (7-7) on Saturday afternoon.
The setback snapped a four-match winning streak for the team.
The Golden Eagles will now wait for seeding to be determined on Monday for the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament April 22-26, played in Cayce, S.C. Marquette finished the year 3-1 against league opponents, with wins over DePaul, Creighton and Xavier.
