Men's Soccer Named NSCAA Team Academic Winner

MILWAUKEE -- The Marquette University men's soccer team was honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's Team Academic Award for the 2013-2014 academic year, it was announced Monday.

The student athletes have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom thanks to their composite grade point average of 3.18. Teams with a GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) receive the award.

The MU women's team also earned the award, marking the sixth consecutive year both programs have earned the award.
