Will Redmond started at Marquette in October 2023. He serves as the primary contact for women’s basketball, men's soccer and men's golf programs.
Redmond was a graduate assistant at Ole Miss from 2018-2020, where he was the primary contact for the men’s and women’s golf programs and secondary for men’s basketball. He also played a role in media operations for football and baseball.
He was responsible for media coverage surrounding the Ole Miss women’s golf program’s win at the 2019 SEC Championship, the first conference title in program history.
He has volunteered in a media center role at three USGA championships: Two U.S. Opens at The Country Club at Brookline (2022) and Los Angeles Country Club (2023) and the U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills (2025).
In March of 2023, he volunteered in a media relations role at the Men’s BIG EAST Tournament and NCAA East Regional at Madison Square Garden.
During the summer of 2021, he was the director of marketing and communications for the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association, the USGA Allied Golf Association of the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Redmond’s experience in athletic communications started as an undergrad at Xavier University. He was the primary contact for the men’s and women’s golf programs and helped out the main basketball contact with game notes, media operations, and stat crew during the season.
From Saint Louis, Missouri, Redmond received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Xavier University in 2017, and a master’s in journalism from the University of Mississippi in 2020.
