2026 Season (So.): Played in all thirteen games and recorded one goal and one assist. He recorded first career ground ball against Michigan (February 7) ... Picked up two ground balls and caused two turnovers against Cleveland St (February 21) ... Recorded one ground ball against Detoit Mercy (February 23) ... Grabbed one ground ball and caused one turnover against Mercer (March 7) ... Secured one ground ball against Utah (March 11) ... Recorded five ground balls against Bellarmine (March 21) ... Had one assist andone caused turnover as well as a career high eight ground balls against Providence (March 28) ... Scored first goal as well as one ground ball and one caused turnover against St. Johns (April 4) ... Caused two turnovers against Georgetown (April 11) ... Recorded two caused turnovers against Villanova (April 18) ... Picked up one ground ball and caused two turnovers against Denver (April 24).
2025 Season (RS): Did not see action as a first-year player.
Prior to Marquette: Maloney was a four-year member of the Governor's Academy lacrosse team under lacrosse head coach Tucker Sampson ... The Red Dogs earned an ISL lacrosse runner-up finish in both 2022 and 2023 ... Also played four years of football and captured a ISL football championship in 2022 ... Played club lacrosse for the NE Twisters under head coach Steve Morland.
Personal: Colin was born in Boston and is the son of Matt and Stephanie Maloney... His father played football at Boston University... Has three younger siblings, Grace, James and Clara... Plans to major in business.
