‘Blue & Gold’ Student-Athlete: Emily Fix

Marquette University women's soccer student-athlete Emily Fix is the Blue & Gold Student Athlete of the Month for August, as chosen by Marquette Athletics' Academic & Programs Staff.

Fix is a senior studying Finance in the College of Business Administration, and is in the AIM program, focused on CFA & Investments. She has earned Dean's List, AD Honor Roll, and Big East Academic Awards each semester. She was also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma (National Honor Society for student-athletes). Emily is on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee executive board, as vice president for finance, for the 2026-27 academic year. She is currently completing her second internship with Baird Investments. She has been involved in community service, with a long-term commitment to Special Olympics where she has been a volunteer swim coach, as well as initiatives with her team such as Reading with Golden Eagles and shoe/clothing drives to benefit local organizations.

A two-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection, Fix started all 18 matches as a junior in 2025 and scored a career-high three goals, finding the net against North Dakota State, DePaul and UConn. As a sophomore in 2024, she started 19 of 20 appearances and finished second on the team with three goals and seven points, while adding her first collegiate goal during her freshman campaign in 2023.
