Marquette's all-time series against Creighton spans nearly the entirety of the program's 109-year history.
The Golden Eagles own a 60-42 advantage in the series and have claimed four of the last six outings.
Prior to 2013-14, when the Bluejays joined the BIG EAST, the most recent meeting between the two programs came in the 1998 National Invitation Tournament. MU posted an 80-68 victory in the opening round at the Bradley Center en route to an appearance in the event's quarterfinals.

Mitchell Honored With McCahill Award
Former guard Stevie Mitchell is the recipient of the 80th annual Robert L. and William P. McCahill Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a Marquette student-athlete, and he will be honored at Tuesday night's game against Creighton.
Mitchell, the 2024-25 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) First Team Academic All-American®, was a four-time member of BIG EAST All-Academic Team who graduated in May 2024 with two bachelor's degrees in finance and information systems.
Mitchell was one of just two players in Marquette men's basketball history to earn first team recognition, was just the third men's basketball player to be honored at least twice, and the 14th student-athlete in Marquette history to earn recognition by the CSC on more than one occasion.
On the court, Mitchell was highly regarded for his defensive play as he was named a semifinalist for the Naismith DPOY award and was a finalist for the Lefty Driesell Award.
