Golden Eagles host No. 14 Creighton in Thursday battle
The Golden Eagles opened the regular season 2-0 last weekend after sweeping Providence and UConn. MU closes out its 11-match home stand this weekend against No. 14 Creighton and DePaul.Â
MU will face the Bluejays on Thursday, with first serve slated for 6 p.m. The first 100 students will receive a free Shake Shack burger and all fans have the chance to receive a gold rally towel.
The Golden Eagles will match-up against the Blue Demons on Sunday at 3 p.m.Â
HISTORY x OPPONENTS
MU and Creighton have met a total of 35 times in program history, with the Bluejays holding the series record 29-6. Creighton enters the contest on a four match winning streak after defeating Butler, 3-0, last weekend. The Bluejays and the Golden Eagles are both undefeated in conference action.
DePaul enters the match 9-4 and will face No. 14 Creighton on Saturday before making the trip to the Al. Â The Blue Demons and the Golden Eagles have met a total of 41 times in program history. MU owns the all time series 34-7.Â
