OMAHA, Nebraska ā The Marquette University women's tennis team closed out weekend action in Omaha, Nebraska, against Creighton and Nebraska Omaha.

The Golden Eagles opened the match by securing the crucial doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, taking a 1-0 lead.

Creighton went on to win five straight singles matches to clinch the team victory.

Marquette's lone singles point came at the No. 2 position, where Andie Weise earned a three-set victory (4-6, 6-2, 10-5).

Omaha started the match by scoring the first point, winning the doubles with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
