Marquette Athletics Hosts Shopping With The Golden Eagles - Marquette University Athletics

Marquette Athletics Hosts Shopping With The Golden Eagles

Several teams helped nearly 60 children Christmas shop

The Marquette University men's basketball team and Golden Eagle student-athletes, in partnership with Kohl's, hosted "Shopping With The Golden Eagles" on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Kohl's Bayshore Mall location.

The athletics department partnered with St. Catherine Catholic Elementary School to provide up to 60 students with $200 gift cards, provided by Kohl's, to shop for Christmas presents for friends and family. Each student was paired with a member of the men's basketball program, Marquette Athletics student-athlete or staff member.

Along with the men's basketball team, student-athletes from men's and women's lacrosse, women's tennis, men's and women's track & field, women's soccer and men's golf were on site to assist with the shopping.

This year marked the fourth time Marquette Athletics and Kohl's have partnered for the event.
