Marquette Tennis Wraps Up Second Week Of Fall Schedule

Golden Eagles represented at trio of events
The Marquette University men's and women's tennis teams continued their respective fall campaigns this past weekend at a trio of events.
The women's team was represented at both the ITA Midwest Regional, hosted by the University of Illinois, and the Hoosier Classic at Indiana University. Emilija Kojcic, Natalija Popovic, Giulia Turconi and Andie Weise each competed in singles and doubles action at the regional event. Each player collected at least one victory on the weekend.
The remainder of the women's team was in action at the Hoosier Classic and action was highlighted by a trio of wins by newcomer Nicole Hopman. She finished 3-0 in singles action and also picked up three doubles victories.
The men's team traveled to Notre Dame for the Bobby Bayliss Invitational. Multiple players claimed singles and doubles wins on the weekend, but the entire roster didn't make the trip.
