Marquette in action for first time since March 6

The Marquette University women's tennis team (5-4) returns to action on Saturday, March 27 when the team hosts Drake (6-5) at Helfaer Tennis Stadium in non-conference action.

First serve is set for 10 a.m. and it will be the team's first action since defeating Omaha 5-2 on March 6.

"It will be great to get back on the court to compete," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "We only have three matches left before the league tournament and our hope is to be playing our best tennis of the year down the stretch."

Freshman Andie Weise leads the team with a 7-2 record in singles, seeing a majority of her action at the No. 2 position. Classmates Emilija Kojcic and Tiana Windbuchler are second on the roster with four victories each.
