Golden Eagles wrap up two-match homestand
The Marquette University women's tennis team (1-1) wraps up a quick two-match homestand on Saturday, Feb. 6 when the squad hosts Milwaukee in non-conference action at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
Opening serve is set for 12 p.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles claimed a 4-3 victory over UIC on Jan. 30 for the team's first win on the young season, with freshman Andie Weise clinching the team victory.
"We have had a good week of practice and are looking forward to getting back on the court," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "We are already seeing some improvement on the court, which is encouraging, but we know there is plenty of work to be done."
Following Saturday's action, Marquette will travel to Notre Dame on Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. CT.
