
Golden Eagles Host Creighton and Travel to Michigan

BIG EAST play opens up
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's tennis team competes at home this Saturday, Feb. 22, for the first time in almost three weeks, taking on Creighton University. The team will then travel to Kalamazoo to face Western Michigan the following day.
The Golden Eagles (3-5) are coming off a strong performance on the road, defeating Tennessee at Chattanooga, 6-1. The matchup with Creighton is each team's first BIG EAST competition of the year.
The Bluejays (4-3) most recently swept Northern Illinois and Saint Louis 7-0 and 4-0.
The Broncos (4-4) are also coming off two consecutive sweeps, defeating Dayton and Northern Iowa 4-0 and 7-0 respectively.
Saturday's start time is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT while Sunday's competition is slated for 12 p.m. CT.
