Marquette Falls 4-3 at Butler Saturday

MU concludes regular season Sunday at Xavier
The Marquette University men's tennis team (12-8) dropped a 4-3 decision at Butler (19-6) on the road Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Golden Eagles will conclude the regular season on Sunday, April 14 at 12 p.m. CT when the team faces Xavier on the road.
Marquette led the match 3-0 after claiming the doubles point and singles wins by Luis Heredia Gomez and Brett Meyers, but was unable to claim the fourth point necessary for the team victory.
MU claimed the first set in three of the other singles matchups, but the Bulldogs rallied in each of those and earned the decision with a three-set win at No. 1 singles.
