Marquette completes perfect weekend
MILWAUKEE-- The Marquette women's tennis team completed a perfect weekend with a 6-1 victory over Illinois State on Saturday.
Marquette swept all three doubles courts to get on board first with the doubles point. Fleur Eggink won at the No. 1 position coming back after dropping set one, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 and Natalija Popovic also stormed back to a 7-5, 6-7, 10- win at No. 2. Alexandrina Chinikova claimed a 6-3, 6-1 win as Lesley Foe and Isabella Franks won their matches as well.
The Golden Eagles (4-2) will host Drake and Iowa next weekend.
