
Track heads to Notre Dame, Parkside and University of Chicago

The Golden Eagles will compete in the 32nd annual Meyo Invitational on Friday and Saturday
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's track and field teams will send individuals to three different meets this weekend, including the 32nd annual Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame.
In addition to Notre Dame, MU student-athletes will compete at the Ranger Classic at UW-Parkside, while Mady Marko (pentathlon) and Joe Keys (heptathlon) will compete at the University of Chicago's Windy City Invitational.
Events are set to begin at Notre Dame's Loftus Center on Friday night with Keely Knobbe in the women's weight throw at 3 pm. Central time. Terrance Howard and Brendan McKinney will also compete in the men's weight throw on Friday evening before heading to Parkside for Saturday's meet.
Among those events competed on Friday at ND also include the 60-meter races (hurdles and dash), as well as the 5,000-meter run and 200- and 600-meter dashes.
Reigning BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week Daniel Armstrong will compete in the high jump at Notre Dame, where he won the event last season at a height of 2.19 meters (7 feet, 2 1/4 inches), which was also a personal-best at the time.
Saturday's action at Meyo begins at 8:45 a.m. CT with the 60 hurdles semifinals, while the field events begin at 9:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring for the Meyo Invite will be available courtesy of Endurance Race Timing and some of Saturday's action will be broadcast online on the ACC Network Extra.
The majority of MU athletes are set to compete at Parkside on Saturday with field events beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT.
Following this weekend's action, the Golden Eagles will have two more meets prior to the BIG EAST Indoor Championships on Feb. 22-23.
