Baird Blue & Gold Student-Athlete of the Month: Nick Singleton

Singleton is SAAC vice president and took part in the service trip to Costa Rica
Singleton is the Vice President of Finance for Marquette's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a student facilitator of LEAD-2, MU's student-athlete sophomore leadership program. The Wheaton, Illinois native will also serve as the speaker at the 2018 Blue & Gold Fund Auction on Dec. 7.
He participated in the Courts for Kids service trip to Costa Rica in May of 2018 and is the co-leader of Marquette's FCA chapter (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) along with men's basketball player Markus Howard.
Singleton earned his way onto the men's lacrosse team two years ago as a walk-on and has developed into an important rotation member at the short-stick midfield position. He played in all 14 games last year and notched eight ground balls and caused five turnovers.
