Marquette Men's Tennis Defeats Toledo 6-3

Milwaukee, Wis.-The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-7) snapped its three-match losing streak with a 6-3 victory over Toledo at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium today. The Golden Eagles were led by junior Bart Cordmeijer's 6-3, 6-1 victory over Dipesh Rao. Marquette also had impressive wins by sophomore Brian Verban and freshman Peter Mojzis in the dual match. The Golden Eagles won two out of three matches against the Rockets in doubles competition. Marquette hosts conference opponent St. Louis tomorrow at 1 p.m. (CT) at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
