Emily Balaban joined LEARFIELD Marquette Sports Properties as a Partnership Solutions Coordinator in April of 2026.
Her duties include corporate partnership elements and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the office.
Balaban arrives at Marquette after most recently working as an Assistant Athletic Communications-Athletic Recruiting Coordinator at Mount Mary University. She managed the department’s digital content creation and helped organize and execute athletics events. She supported coaching staff in recruiting prospective student-athletes and guided them through the admissions and offer process.
Prior to Mount Mary, she also made stops with the Milwaukee Bucks (Partner Strategy and Activation Intern), Concordia University Chicago (Athletic Communications Student Assistant) and Chicago Bears (Fan Services Representative).
A member of the women’s basketball team at Concordia, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management and business (minor in education) in 2024 and her master’s degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership from the University of Washington in 2025.
