Prior to Marquette - Attended Marion Military Institute where she qualified for national tournaments in both the fall and spring seasons. Grafton finished the season ranked nationally, No. 45 in singles and No. 13in doubles, among junior college competitors. Earned letters and academic honors in both volleyball and tennis at Tarpon Springs High School. Briefly attended the United States Naval Academy.
