High School: Laabs was a four-year track lettterwinner...Left Thomas Moore as school record-holder in many events, among those are the triple jump (42-10.75) and 600m run (1:29.42)... Placed third at the WIAA Division II state meet in the triple jump... Was also a three-year letterwinner in both football and baseball and a two-time letterwinner in basketball.

Personal: Laabs was born on Jan. 21, 1986 to Tom and Carolyn Laabs... He has one brother, Steve... Bleem plans to major in Accounting and Finance.
