"What an unbelievable win for the program today! Â I cannot be more proud of the effort everyone showed on this team. Â We started off the match so well winning doubles again. Â Our doubles has been great, Â we're playing aggressive and positionally smart tennis. SIUE played great singles and we were soon 3-1 down. Â Elise had an unbelievable comeback being a set 4-1 down and fighting off a match point. Â Just seeing her confidence grow and embrace the moment was special. Â Lu played so well today getting us to 3-3. Â Elena has been clutch for us all year and she closed it out after being 5-3 down in both sets. Â This team fought so hard for each other and they deserve this win. Â Let's Go Marquette!"
