T&F Announces 2026 Outdoor Schedule

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Marquette University track and field team announced its 2026 outdoor schedule, featuring a 12‑meet slate highlighted by the Marquette Invitational at Melvin "Bus" Shimek Track and Field on April 10-11.

The Golden Eagles open the season with consecutive meets March 26-28 at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis, Mo. and the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Ill., before returning to Milwaukee on April 2 for the Green & White Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran.

The team's signature home event, the Marquette Invitational, will take place April 10-11. Following its home meet, Marquette will send select athletes to Jacksonville, Fla. for the Golden Hour Invitational on April 17-18 before heading to one of the nation's premier events, the Drake Relays, held April 22-25 in Des Moines, Iowa. A group will also compete April 24 at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative.

Championship preparation continues May 1 at the Badger Challenge in Madison and May 8 at the Uncaged Eagle Open in La Crosse. The BIG EAST Outdoor Championships are set for May 14–16 in Storrs, Conn. Qualifying athletes will advance to the NCAA West Preliminary Round, scheduled for May 27–30 in Fayetteville, Ark. The season concludes June 10–13 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. at Hayward Field.
