Senior midfielder netted first two career goals Sunday
NEW YORK – Marquette University men's soccer senior midfielder Mateo Stoka has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Stoka netted his first two career goals on Sunday against North Florida, including the game winner on a free kick in the 90th minute.
The Menomonee Falls native scored his first career goal from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.
Marquette (1-0-1, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) returns to action on Thursday vs. Drake at 7 p.m. CT at Valley Fields.
