The Marquette University women's lacrosse team (5-3, 0-0 BIG EAST) continued non-conference play with a 24-10 win over Detroit Mercy on Sunday at Valley Fields.
Senior attacker Meg Bireley scored five goals and had a career-high four assists to become Marquette University women's lacrosse all-time points leader.
Brynna Nixon earned her fourth win of the season and 25th win of her career, passing Jules Horning for the most wins in program history.
Hanna Bodner had a career-high five goals while Tess Osburn (tied career-high) and Campbell Brown (career-high) had four goals each.
Lorelai VanGuilder had a career-high nine draw controls, helping Marquette to 29 total to set a new program record for draw controls in a game.
Detroit Mercy (3-5, 0-0 MAC) was led by Libby Cuckler, who had two goals and one assist.
