Golden Eagles competed alongside 11 teams at Burke Golf Course

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Marquette University cross country competed in its second race of the fall on Friday at the National Catholic Invite on the campus of Notre Dame.

The Golden Eagles competed against 11 teams at Burke Golf Course. The women finished sixth and the men ninth.

Emma Coon paced the women's team for the second meet in a row, finishing 39th with a time of 18:47.10. Audrey Grimm joined Coon in the top 50, placing 47th at 19:17.10.

Logan Goodman led the men's side in his first action this fall finishing 48th at 25:46.80. Edgar Valles finished 50th at 25:47.50.
