Golden Eagles travel to Wisconsin on Saturday
MILWAUKEE- The No. 3/3 Marquette University men's basketball team (6-1, 0-0 BIG EAST) defeated Southern (1-6, 0-0 SWAC) on Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum.
Guard Tyler Kolek led the Golden Eagles with 16 points and became a member of the 1,000 point club. Kolek shot 4-of -5 from three, one shy of his career high.
MU had four other players finish the game with double figures as well. 7Â of the 15 players that entered the game recorded a steal tonight including Zaide Lowery who had a career-high of two.
