Golden Eagles host Georgetown Friday night
The Marquette University men's tennis team (2-7) dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision against Illinois State (3-9) Sunday afternoon at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
The Redbirds opened the match by claiming the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Stefan Dragovic rallied for a three-set victory at the No. 1 spot to claim MU's lone point on the afternoon.
UP NEXT: Marquette returns to action on Friday, Feb. 25 when the team hosts Georgetown to continue a five-match homestand.
