Barber Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team

MILWAUKEE-- Marquette University senior outside hitter Allie Barber was named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District® 6 Volleyball Team, it was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Barber holds a 3.98 grade point average in biomedical sciences and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team in 2018. The Cedarburg, Wisconsin native currently leads the BIG EAST with 4.68 kills per set and became Marquette's all-time kills leader over the weekend.

The all-district teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
