Play Opens At River Forest Collegiate Invite

Six players representing MU in singles and doubles
The Marquette University men's tennis team is in the midst of its season-opening event after beginning play on Friday at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Northern Illinois.
The Golden Eagles are represented by six players at the event and competing in both singles and doubles action.
To this point, results have been highlighted by a third-place finish in the Flight C doubles draw by junior Alexander Warstler and freshman Shaddy Khalafallah. The duo claimed and 8-6 decision over its opponent from the host Huskies.
Play continues Saturday afternoon with singles action, with the event concluding on Sunday.
