Marquette Wraps Up Fall Slate At SDSU

The Golden Eagles head to California from Nov. 9-11
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's tennis team will finish out its fall slate at the San Diego State Fall Classic from Friday, Nov. 9 – Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Golden Eagles most recently concluded play in Louisville last weekend, highlighted by a doubles victory over the hosting Cardinals, 2-1. Lesley Foe-Alexandrina Chinikova and Fleur Eggink-Natalija Popovic were the tandems that collected the pair of wins.
In addition to Marquette and the hosting Aztecs, competitors at this weekend's event will also include Fresno State, Cal Poly, Colorado, Utah, Stanford and Eastern Washington.
The tournament begins at 9 a.m. PT each day with doubles and singles play will immediately follow for each of the three days.
Marquette will return to the court for competition in Bloomington, Ind. from Jan. 19-21 at the Indiana Winter Invitational.
