Marquette Finishes Fall Slate at SDSU

The Golden Eagles notched wins over Eastern Washington
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Marquette University women's tennis team finished out its fall slate at the San Diego State Fall Classic over the weekend.
The tandem of Natalija Popovic and Fleur Eggink made it past a duo from Fresno State to make it to the Flight A Doubles Final on Sunday before falling to Eastern Washington's Rylee Braeden and Madeline Lamoreaux. Alexandrina Chinikova and Lesley Foe also paired up for a win over EWU.
Isabella Franks tallied on win in consolation play while Elisabeth Desmarais beat EWU's Zoey Nelson to round out singles action.
Marquette will return to the court for dual competition in Bloomington, Indiana, from Jan. 19-21 at the Indiana Winter Invitational.
