
Marquette Claims 4-2 Win at Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--The Marquette women's tennis team concluded a weekend trip to Indiana and pulled out a 4-2 victory over Indiana on Sunday to finished the weekend 2-0.
Paula Tormos Sanchez was instrumental in the Golden Eagles' (10-5) succes as she clinched both doubles and singles for the win.
Fleur Eggink and Diana Tokar improved to 6-2 together in doubles action as the tandem earned a 6-1 win at the No. 2 position. Tormos and Silvia Ambrosio clinched the first point of the match as the duo topped the No. 41 ranked Hoosiers' top team, 7-6 (6-5).
With the match tied 1-1, Ambrosio claimed a 6-2-6-4 victory in No. 1 singles, which put MU in front, 2-1. Eggink followed with a No. 4 singles win, 6-4, 6-2 and Tormos finished with the match clinching point earning a 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at the No. 3 position.
The Golden Eagles are back in action at Creighton on Saturday, April 8 at 1 p.m. Central time.
