Wilborn Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK--Marquette University women's junior guard Amani Wilborn was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the league announced on Monday.

Wilborn led Marquette in a 1-1 week picking up 19 points in a 62-point blowout over Loyola CHicago before notching 18 points in a loss for the Golden Eagles at Green Bay. The Milwaukee native drained nearly 71 percent of her shots from the field in picking up her first weekly award of the season.

Marquette (3-3) is back in action tonight, hosting Wisconsin at 7 CT, which will also air on Spectrum Sports.
