Allazia Blockton is named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK--Marquette University women's basketball junior Allazia Blockton was selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles as they fell to No. 12/14 Tennessee in an overtime thriller before easily handling Montana in the Cancun Challenge. Blockton earned all-tournament honors for her performance.
Marquette returns home Tuesday to host its annual MPS Day welcoming Loyola Chicago to the Al at 11:30 a.m. CT.
