
Rosenthal Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK--Marquette volleyball's redshirt sophomore Jenna Rosenthal was selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll the league office announced on Monday.
The 6-5 middle blocker averaged 2.80 kills and a BIG EAST best 1.86 blocks in a 2-0 week for Marquette as the Golden Eagles defeated Villanova (3-0) and Georgetown (3-1). Rosenthal also averaged 3.93 points per set and tallied a .485 hitting percentage. In the victory at Georgetown she totaled 11 kills and eight blocks.
The Golden Eagles are 20-5 overall and own a 10-3 record in BIG EAST play and will open a three-game homestand beginning Saturday, Nov. 5 against DePaul. The match is slated to begin at 6 p.m. CT on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
