Over 1,200 Marquette fans attended the Athletics Backyard BBQ Monday night on Marquette's Central Mall, enjoying great food, sports stations and picture-perfect weather.

A majority of the Golden Eagle teams hosted activities for the fans in attendance, including lacrosse, tennis, track & field, volleyball and golf. A brief program featured Marquette President Dr. Michael Lovell, VP & Director of Athletics Bill Scholl and head men's basketball coach Steve Wojciechowski.
Head men's golf coach Steve Bailey, who claimed the BIG EAST title this season, also addressed the crowd as all of the head coaches in attendance were introduced.
