Arlesia Morse Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

MILWAUKEE--Junior Arlesia Morse was selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll after leading MU to a 2-0 week last week.

The Flint, Mich. native averaged 22 points and led the Golden Eagles in a 79-71 overtime victory over Oral Roberts before a 71-54 victory Denver. Morse tallied a career-high 28 points against ORU and picked up six steals. She shot 52.9 percent (18-34) in the two games.

Marquette finished the non-conference season with a 9-2 record heading into league play, which begins at Butler on Saturday, Dec. 28 in the Bulldogs first-ever BIG EAST Conference game.
