
Plouffe Tabbed as BIG EAST Player of the Week

MILWAUKEE--Marquette senior women's basketball player, Katherine Plouffe has been named the BIG EAST Player of the Week, the conference office has announced. This is the first week for conference weekly awards and it included all games played this season.
Plouffe is averaging a double double with 20 points and 13 rebounds per game through three games played this season. She opened the season with a career-high 26 points to lead MU in a 90-71 victory over Wake Forest and has helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 3-0 record to open the season. Plouffe is shooting 52.4 percent from the floor in the three outings.
The Golden Eagles will host Central Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. CT, before welcoming No. 2 Duke to the Al McGuire Center, Sunday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. on FOX Sports 1.
