Alumni Run Location Changed to Marquette Track

Complete 2011 Schedule

MILWAUKEE - The location of the annual Marquette cross country and track & field Alumni Run has been changed to the Melvin "Bus" Shimek Memorial Track and Field Facility at Valley Fields on Saturday, Aug. 27. The event was previously scheduled to take place at Veteran's Park along Milwaukee's Lakefront.

The first one-and-a-half miles of the two-mile race will be run on the Hank Aaron State Trail and the event will conclude with one lap on the track.

The women's race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., while the men's race will start at 10:30 a.m. upon the completion of the women's event.
