Todd Named BIG EAST Player of the Week

MILWAUKEE - Senior Kimberely Todd was named BIG EAST Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.
In a 3-1 defeat of Georgetown Oct. 5, Todd notched 16 kills and hit a .333 clip for the Golden Eagles. She followed that performance notching her eighth double-double of the season with 19 kills and 13 digs in a 3-0 rout of USF on Oct. 7. Todd averaged 5.00 kills per game and 2.86 digs per game, along with eight service aces and eight blocks combined in the two matches.
Todd leads MU and is second in the BIG EAST with 4.82 kills per contest and ranks second in service aces with 0.52 per game.
This is the second conference honor for Todd this season. She was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll the week of Sept. 3.
The Golden Eagles (6-8, 3-2) are back in action on Friday, Oct. 12, when they host Notre Dame (7-8, 3-2) at 7 p.m.
