Tyler O’Brien (2007-12) was an All-BIG EAST Conference selection in 2011 in the 200 meters at the outdoor championships and his personal-best time of 21.05 still tops the Marquette record book. He concluded his career as the program record holder in the indoor and outdoor 200-meter dashes, as well as the indoor 300 meters. O’Brien represented Marquette three times at the NCAA Division I Preliminary Rounds and was a three-time team MVP. He remains in the program’s top-10 in eight different indoor and outdoor events, including second all-time in the 100-meter dash (10.55) behind only Ralph Metcalfe.
